Born in Hong Kong in 1952, Brian Broadbridge went to school at Kowloon Junior before coming to England. In England, Brian went to Clifton College in Bristol before going on to University at The London School of Economics where he gained his Bachelor of Science in Economics in 1974.
After his BSc (Econ) degree, Brian articled and qualified as a solicitor with Withers in the Strand. Brian was admitted as a solicitor in 1980 and joined Simmonds Church Rackham that year and became a junior partner there in 1983. Brian left Simmonds Church in 1985 to become a full equity partner in Swycher & Co before deciding to set up in partnership with Stephen Grimes in 1988.
Brian's experience includes residential and commercial conveyancing both for individuals and for corporations. Brian also deals with landlord and tenant work including having handled the requirements of a large French investment bank in London. He has completed much investment work in property using offshore trusts and offshore companies many of which required mortgage finance. Brian has also much experience in commercial and company work travelling to Hong Kong, Thailand, South Africa and Bulgaria for clients. He deals with all the firm's wills, tax planning, trusts and probate work including offshore tax planning for non-resident and or non-domiciled persons as well as individual immigration applications.
Born in Liverpool in 1959, Stephen Grimes went to school in Lancashire before going on to the University of Kent at Canterbury gaining his Bachelor of Law degree in 1980. Stephen went on to article with a large provincial firm in Kings Lynn, Norfolk before transferring to Swycher & Co in London in 1985. Stephen was admitted in that year as a solicitor. Stephen left Swycher & Co in 1988 to start Broadbridge Grimes with Brian Broadbridge.
Stephen's experience includes residential and commercial conveyancing and much landlord and tenant work having handled the requirements of a large American investment bank in London. He also has much experience in company and commercial work and individual and commercial litigation. This has included complex contractual commercial litigation covering international trade and especially shipping cases.
Born in Northern Ireland, Jon Dixon was educated there before going to University in England and then qualifying as a solicitor in England in 1997. Jon has much experience in residential conveyancing in which he specialises and has done so since qualifying.
